Corporate Event Magician in Luxembourg

You are organising a company event in Luxembourg and your guests come from many different countries? Then you know the challenge: people sit with the colleagues they already know, conversations stay in one language, and the evening never quite comes together. This is exactly where I come in. My name is Christian Lavey. Magic is my full-time job, I am based in Luxembourg, and I perform in English, French and German.

With around 200 shows a year and 20 years on stage, I have learnt how to read a room full of people who have never met – and how to turn it into one audience that laughs and gasps together.

Which format fits which part of your event?

A corporate evening has different phases, and each one calls for a different kind of magic. We can choose one format or combine several.

Welcome drinks and networking

While guests arrive, I move from group to group with close-up magic performed right in their hands. It is the easiest way to break the ice: strangers suddenly have something to talk about, and nobody has to stand alone with a glass.

After dinner

Once everyone is seated, a stand-up show brings the whole room together. It is funny and interactive, and colleagues – sometimes even the boss – are invited to join me on stage. It is the kind of moment people keep talking about at the coffee machine.

Trade fairs, congresses and product launches

At a stand or a presentation, magic draws attention and gives visitors a reason to stop. On request I can build content from your company – a product, a message, a key figure – into the routines, so the entertainment also carries your story.

Christmas parties and other company celebrations

The Christmas party is often the only evening of the year when the whole team is in one place, from the new trainee to the managing director. A magic show gives that evening a shared highlight that has nothing to do with work, yet brings departments together. I am just as happy to perform at summer parties, company anniversaries and team-building events, for a small team as well as for a large gathering.

Entertainment that works for international teams

Luxembourg is home to international companies, banks and EU institutions, and a typical audience here mixes many nationalities. Because I perform in English, French or German, we can agree in advance which language suits your guests best. If your audience is mixed, simply mention it in your enquiry and we will plan the show around it. Visual magic needs very few words, so nobody feels left out.

Practical tips for planning

• Timing: a stage show works best when guests are seated and the main course is over, before the music or dancing starts.
• Room: tell me about the venue, the seating plan and the approximate number of guests, so I can suggest the right format.
• Technology: let me know whether the venue has a sound system and a stage or an open area at the front; we will clarify the details before the event.
• Agenda: share your schedule with speeches and dinner, so the magic fits in naturally instead of interrupting.

Experience you can rely on

I have performed on six continents, including Antarctica and Tristan da Cunha, and I am a guest artist on cruise ships such as A-Rosa, MS Hamburg and Plantours. I was named Künstler des Jahres 2021 (Artist of the Year) by Künstler Magazin and received the Wizard Award from the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Based in Luxembourg, I perform across the Grand Duchy, in Trier and throughout the Greater Region.
