Kids Birthday Magician in Luxembourg

Planning your child’s birthday party in Luxembourg and looking for something more exciting than another round of party games? A magic show turns the afternoon into a shared adventure: the children laugh, gasp and – best of all – get to do magic themselves. My name is Christian Lavey, I live and work in Luxembourg as a magician, and I come to your home or to the venue you have rented.

What the show is like

The children do not just sit and watch. Some come up and help me, others join in from their seats, and the whole group is involved again and again. The birthday child is, of course, the star of the show. Surprising magic and funny moments keep the energy up, without the party turning chaotic.

  • Age: recommended for children from about 6 years.
  • Duration: 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the format you choose.
  • Languages: English, French, German or Luxembourgish.
  • Equipment: I bring all the props; we only agree beforehand on the space available.

Perfect for international groups of children

Many children in Luxembourg go to international schools or grow up with two or three languages at home, so a birthday party often brings together kids who do not share one mother tongue. Let me know in advance which languages your guests speak. The programme is adapted to the age of the children, and for groups with different ages it can be adjusted so that everyone enjoys it.

How the party can run

Every family plans differently, so we fit the show into your schedule. A typical afternoon might look like this:

  • Before the party: you send me the date, the place, the age and number of children and your preferred language.
  • Arrival: I arrive at the agreed location and prepare everything for the show.
  • Showtime: as soon as all the guests have arrived, the magic begins, and the birthday child and friends take part.
  • Party continues: cake, presents and games can take place before or after the show – whatever suits you best.

Tips for parents

  • Start the show once all invited children are there, so nobody misses the beginning.
  • Plan a spot where every child can sit and see well; a living room or a small hall is usually enough. No stage and no complex technology are needed.
  • Enquire as soon as your date is fixed: weekend dates go quickly. Short-notice requests are possible too, and I will check availability for you.

Experience that counts with young audiences

A children’s show is more than a few tricks. Keeping attention, managing the energy of a group and letting kids join in all take experience. As a full-time magician I perform about 200 shows a year – at children’s birthdays, family events and festivals as well as for adults. My work has taken me to six continents and earned recognition from fellow magicians, among them the IBM Wizard Award (International Brotherhood of Magicians).

Where I perform

I come to children’s parties all over Luxembourg. On request I also travel into the Greater Region, for example to Trier, Saarbrücken or Metz.

Request your date

An enquiry is not yet a booking: we go through the details together first. Tell me the date, the location, the age and number of children and the language you would like, and you will receive an offer for your party. Use the contact form on my English home page or message me directly on WhatsApp (+352 661 247 015).
